Service Description
A complete introduction to clay. Great for beginners or those who would like a refresher. Split over 2 weeks. 2 sessions of 3 hours. Week 1 We will hand build a vessel all together, using pinching, coiling and sculpting techniques, I'll talk you through what clay likes and what clay doesn't like. Week 2 You will add colour to your piece ready for the kiln. Please note, although I do my best to ensure your pots fire well. Explosions in the kiln can happen, no refund will be given. Tea, coffee and cake, available to buy from cafe.

Vouchers and missed sessions (within course) are none refundable, Please give 48 hours notice if you would like to reschedule the whole course. I reserve the right to reschedule courses if sufficient places are not filled. For single sessions, please give 24 hours notice for cancelation or reschedule. 2 or 3 session workshops are for the same individual, sessions may not be shared. Please be aware that I will do my very best to ensure the kiln chiefs are on our side and your work will fire well however cracks and explosions can occasionally happen, which is out of my hands and on the rare occasion you may not have your work to take home.
